I've always been a Cowboys fan, Mr. Hyde, but I agree, Troy doesn't sound very 'consulting' to me, more like 'insulting' after that comment of his. Although he's still my favorite QB outside of Roger Staubach, I must say how much I loved watching Dan-The-Man throw those hefty bombs in Miami back in the day...
Thank you for letting me peek into the Hyde10 report on Substack, and for Brian Cusack also, pointing me in your direction - a great find for sure!
Lastly, I am curious what you think about Jeff Hafley, after Friday's game and looking forward? Thanks again.🤠
Thanks, Sheriff. I’ve got no problem with Troy Aikman broadcasting as long as it’s understood there are ramifiations to it. As far as Hafley, I like he’s holding people to standards - like Ollie Gordon’s senseless penalty Friday. A small thing. But noticeable.
Awesome to still be able to read Dave’s insights!💪🏼🫶🏼👏🏼
Fwiw, from what I’ve been able to discern, Miami starters are serviceable but the backups are NOT aka no depth. So, when injuries begin to occur (and they will) the team’s “performance” will quickly deteriorate. I think the starters cld win 5ish games. The backups MAYBE 1.
Miami has some good starters, but is counting so hard on the kinds to come through it’s hard to see all of them working out. Never happens this way. Th model is the ‘24 Patriots - lots of kids, getting cap situation on order and then filling in answers the next offseason
Ewers was horrendous. I've been puzzled all off season how some felt he was the future of the franchise. His play last year was inconsistent and many wrote it off by the fact he was a rookie. There was a reason he fell so far in the draft. Granted, Tom Brady was a 6th round pick however that was unusual. Time will tell if Willis is the answer however he played well last night.
Disappointed in Ewers performance. Looked like he could not hit the ocean if he was on the shoreline. Marco Wilson is about as accurate with a shoe as Ewers was with a football, Is Jason Marshall no longer with the team or injured. ? I thought he was supposed to compete for playing time at CB?
Reserve DL looked weak. Yes Seilers absence was noticeable.
With only one big cutdown in todays NFL game I hope our scouting is up to par
First Drive was the Highlight.. it was downhill from there. I would’ve liked to of seen them play Proctor at least for the full first quarter at left guard I think they pulled him fairly early. But other than that first drive was pretty ugly. Ewers was terrible let’s hope we get better from here lol
don’t want to overreact to one preseason outing —- but this season looks to be just what its billed as: Finding some good parts in a bad year for the bigger buildout next offseason.
Yep.. Looks like getting rid of Jaylen waddle at this point. It’s going to be painful. We have no receivers. Oh well, my friend, another year of suffering through the dolphins.
Mr. Hyde, how many games do you think the Dolphins will win this season? 🤔
Not very many …
🤣
I am so glad to be able to continue to read the Hyde10 after a game. Thanks Dave!
Thanks Stephen. I appreciate a good audience.
Me too
Yay!!!! I was wondering if we would get a Hyde 10 here!!!! 😊
Susan, I really appreciate the embrace of the hyde10. Makes my pumped to do it through preseason - and especially when the games coutnc

Totally agree!
One obvious big difference if Hafley vs Vrabel. So, hoping to see progress/development of & by the coaching staff.🤞🏼

Hoping we at least get positives from it-- and it’s more like the Flores feel and NOT the Cameron feel

Excellent column, Mr. Hyde.
With respect to #8, I never thought of that. It's a valid question. I don't think Buffalo, NE, or NY will be too forthcoming with the former #8. 🤔
